I love you, mom

Ellen was also a caregiver for her paralyzed, bed-bound mother, Frances Livermore, as covered in the New York Times. NY Times story includes this separate Picture gallery.

Ellen is continuing to assist others as a Caregiver Management Consultant.

Frances requested that Ellen’s song, “Let Go” released in 1994, be played at her memorial service as part of the music.

With a library of over 120 songs and counting, and writing music since the age of 12, Ellen has a wide range. A custom songwriter, and an accomplished wordsmith, She also brings a therapist’s deep understanding to the purpose of a song. Ellen sees songs in a film, for example, as having the same presence and potential of a character. Songs are able to deepen the audience’s felt connection, and evoke yet another layer of visceral engagement with the story. Ellen understands that these are powerful and somewhat rare opportunities that can be brought to the highest potential when the music is woven into the story, rather than picked from a catalogue. This is the strong connection she achieves with her music. Ellen’s older music website is called music for healing and recovery. Check back soon for Ellen’s music available for download purchase
